BlackBerry NewsBlackBerry Bold Premiers in Chile, T-Mobile Germany Delays Release

13 days ago we told you that Chileans would be able to get their hands on a BlackBerry Bold through Movistar. But what we didn’t know is that Movistar would be the first carrier in the world to sell the physical device – the two carriers from Hong Kong that are taking pre-orders don’t count.
The device is going for $299,900 Chilean Pesos ($586 USD) on contract with a list of $415,900 Chilean Pesos ($814 USD). Ouch!
If you live in Chile, be sure to check out Movistar’s site to find out the details on where and how you can get your Bold. And don’t be shy to let us know your thoughts on the Bold and how you feel about your country being the first to sell it.
For those of you who live in Germany, you will have noticed by now that the Bold did not go on sale today from T-Mobile as we had previously told you. Apparently something came up at the last minute that required a delay. But worry not, our German friends, because we’re hearing that August 8th is the new tentative release date.
