Updated 16GB Media Card support from RIM!

RIM released a new Knowledge Base article yesterday updating the Media Card support for OS 4.5 and 4.6, which now includes up to 16 GB for the higher-end OS releases.

    It is interesting that the at&t 8320 announcement posted multiple places yesterday indicated the ability to add extra memory to 32 GB, presumably with the version of OS 4.5 they will be shipping on that device. Something more coming or did at&t get it wrong? Hmmm.....

    I saw this and got in touch with a PR contact at SanDisk, asking for a 16GB MicroSD to use both in a review and in on-air segments.

    And the reply told me they're not making them yet.

    No, not yet, but they are coming, as well as from other manufacturers.
  • Awesome, cant wait to get a 16GB chip. I put full seasons of tv shows as well as a ton of music on my Blackberry!
