Overnight, a BlackBerry 8900 / Javelin appeared on the Canadian eBay site with the opening bid for a glance at the future starting at $899.99.

With the Pearl 8220 finishing a run on eBay last week at $1725.00, I can only imagine how much profit this will bring to the seller.

It fetched over 17K, I know it is hard to believe but it did!!! Crazy in my opinion considering the Bold is more feature packed and you can grab one on ebay for 800 shipped. RIM must have listed and bought the thing to create hype
