BlackBerry News, BlackBerry RumorsA Storm for Thanksgiving

BlackberryCool is churning up the rumor mill today with a report of the 9530 Storm hitting the stores on November 4th.
Says Cool, “We’re working pretty hard to confirm this right now, but it’s too exciting to post, and falls in line with what has been reported recently on the blogs. A friendly tipster has been telling us that Verizon has settled on a firm launch date for the BlackBerry Storm 9530: November 4th.”

I find it REALLY hard to believe that VZW would release this phone on the day of the biggest election in recent history.

Maybe Verizon doesn’t like the candidates so they are trying to take away votes.

Why would releasing it on Election Day matter? Heck, maybe they think that people going in late or leaving work early might just like to stop by a Verizon store and get some after they vote? Seems unusual to me though, my recollection was Verizon usually launches such devices on a Sunday…???
