BlackBerry GeneralVodafone UK BlackBerry Storm For Free

If you live in the UK you can score a Vodafone BlackBerry Storm for free the Times Online is reporting. Yes of course there is a catch but for once the catch is not a bad deal. You must sign up for a £35 a month tariff for 18 months. I would love to see Verizon come up with a deal like this but I doubt that will ever happen. Verizon does not even let you use GPS for free.
I really think Vodaphone is going in the right direction with this. This promotion is going to get the BlackBerry Storm into a lot of people’s hands who would have skipped over it because of the up front cost. I think more carriers need to look at providing higher end phones for free under contract with slightly higher monthly fees.
What do you think of this deal? Post your comments below.
