AT&T and RIM kicked off the west coast Bold love tonight with a Launch Party in San Francisco. And everyone there walked with away with a Bold in hand. More pictures after the click…

According to BlackBeryForums.com’s Stinsonddog, (well-known for his infamous BB Tips & Tricks) about 200 lucky invitees went home with their personal Bold, after enjoying hors d’oeuvres of sushi, crab ice cream cones and open bar.

So… when will the Bold launch across the US? That info is still up for grabs

Hmmmmm...AT&T 3G issues must be settled up in San Fran if they actually handed out Bolds at this one. Come on NY! What is this, a union job???

Ah well, at least it's nice to see an AT&T packaged Bold. Perhaps the light at the end of the tunnel...
  • wow it is great to see the att bold packaging, i guess were getting close to go time.

Anybody know if ATT checked ID's at the door?? Trying to crash the DC launch party next week!

Two things for the DC launch
    1. its not the same as this SF launch or the NY launch next week. The DC launch is for dealers and AT&T employees.
    2. yes, security will have a list of names, if you arent on the list, you dont get in.
  • What an ugly box.

So no chance of getting a free Bold at the DC event? Any word from the Chicago/Dallas/Atlanta/Miami events, and what attendees got?

I was at the SF Launch. SO far, I have not been able to get the Wi-Fi to work at any hotspot, home Wi-Fi, Panera etc.. Don't know what is wrong with it but there is no support yet.
