Sony Ericsson didn’t see the Storm coming :p

Apparently some rumor out of the Sony Ericsson camp is that the launch date for their Experia X1 smartphone would have been after the first of the year, but the BlackBerry Storm being launched in mid-November caught them by surprise.

According to my source, Sony Ericsson’s sales projections for the X1 were based on the X1 hitting the market three months before the BB Storm. Since the X1 release has been rushed, expect a bug-ridden device from Sony Ericsson.

Score one for RIM.
