If you support BlackBerry devices for your organization, you have most likely spent time troubleshooting an Enterprise Activation issue, only to find out the device didn’t have the correct BlackBerry data plan.

Wouldn’t it be nice it here was a webite you could just plug in the device info and find out that information?  Well it’s time to rejoice since that tool is now available!

The new tool, the BlackBerry Expert Support Center, is now available to those company’s lucky enough to have T-Support contracts with RIM.  The BlackBerry Expert Support Center is a great new dashboard that can help you:

  • Verify that a BlackBerry device is ready to begin the enterprise activation process (has the correct plan, and the user can receive the enterprise activation email).
  • View your T-Support agreement (support level, start/end date of contract, named callers, etc).
  • Manage service requests – including creating or updating requests.

Kudos to RIM for making this tool available – at least to T-Support customers!

It'd be nice if RIM actually told people about this.

    Grrrr

It would...kind of like being notified in advance of planned outages.

Ummmm, I have Tx2.. How do I get to this??
  • beetlejelly
Hmmm... I cant seem to find this on the TSupport webpage.

Go to the link in the article above. Put in your work email account (or whatever is associated with your T-Support agreement) and click 'forgot password'. You'll get an email with a password and can then log on.

Mine took about 15-20 to arrive.
