Just three more days for the BlackBerry Storm hopefuls in the United Kingdom. That’s all that remains between those who want the BlackBerry Storm 9500, and the day they’ll be able to grasp it in their hands. Pocket-lint.co.uk has confirmed that Phones4U, Vodafone’s exclusive retailer, will have the devices physically in the stores this Friday.

Phones4U will be taking pre-orders over the next day or so, but dispatches will go out Friday. Rumor has it, Vodafone will have a very high-profile launch with new F-1 racing Champion Lewis Hamilton. We will keep you updated.

What does this mean for the US launch? Still estimated at the 16th or are we agreeing with BGR on delays?

This is amazing phone! Now only wait for the Blackberry to provide SDK and *if* it will be more open than Apple (in terms of sdk features and policies) then we have a winner :)

Funny though that this phone is about 5mm short of total awesomeness... Anyone thinks the screen could stretch those few millimeters to reach the buttons at the bottom (so it would have the the border same width as on the top)?

I just checked and my local Phones4u said they would have them in store to touch and buy on Saturday (as sson as they open).
