Overnight AT&T released 4.5.110 for the BlackBerry 8320 and BlackBerry 8820. Below is upgrade instructions and links for both devices.

8320 Users:

BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.152 (Multilanguage)

Package Version: 4.5.0.152
Consisting of:

* Applications: 4.5.0.110
* Software Platform: 2.7.0.90
* File name: 8320M_PBr4.5.0_rel152_PL2.7.0.90_A4.5.0.110_AT&T.e xe
* File size: 91.42MB

https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads…E4F82F9F00E7D4

Instructions for installing on ANY 8320 (regardless of carrier)

1. Download the above OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named “vendor.xml.”
3. Plug in BB and double click on “Loader.exe.” It’s located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how much data you have to backup and restore during the process. Once it’s done loading the new OS it will reboot (it may do this twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with an hourglass for up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says “waiting for initialization.”
If, for some reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply connect to the PC again and run Loader.exe again and it should load the OS to the device.

    Leave it to Att to release an upgrade for an unreleased phone. 8320 isnt available yet. What about the 8310.
  • correct me if I'm wrong.. but where have you been Wil? 8320 is not available yet? it's going to extinct soon! LoL
  • Ed
    WHat a bunch of douches. What about the 8310 as opposed to a phone they didn't release (ever). Bizarre.
  • Brandon
    I thought they nixed the 8320 a few months ago?
  • Wil
    Indra where have you been 8320 is Tmobile not ATT. So before you open your mouth do research. Their is no 8320 for ATT. A**Ho**
  • Mike
    Just loaded the new OS on my 8820 and it looks great! However, HTML email does not work and the option is not available. Any help?
  • JJ
    @Wil,

    At&t announced earlier this year that the 8320 will be coming to their network "late in 2008". And now they just released OS4.5, which....was announced as going to be the OS for the 8320....when they finally get around to launching it. Everyone else understands Indra's joke.

    Do your own research before calling names, DBag.
  • Wil
    You and Indra can both lick my b**ls. You are idiots, and look at my comment. I did not attack anyone, or comment about anything that anyone said. I was simply making a comment about ATT So go f**k yourself and if your'e ever in New York and want to look me up i will be glad to meet you for coffee. DBag.
  • Wil
    Oh and for your information i am well aware of the 8320 which is the Navy Blue Curve that adds wifi. Which should be released within the next couple of weeks. So Get A Life DBag
  • Mitboy
    Wil, cut it out. You really are being a Dbag. Get off of people's cases. We're all aware now of the facts. Put your tongue back in your mouth.
  • Wil
    Dear Mitboy Youre a DBag. look ay my first post.

    "Leave it to Att to release an upgrade for an unreleased phone. 8320 isnt available yet. What about the 8310."

    There was nothing said about anyone else, Indra attacked me then i followed up, Then JJ attacked me so i followed up, now youre attacking me, so why dont the three of you go F**k yourselves and just shup up already. Leave it alone its over and done.
  • JJ
    wil's a dbag. :)

  • Wil
    JJ's mother is licking my balls as we speak LoL Haha HeHe....
  • Mitboy
    Ok...I'll contribute again...

    (childish crappola)

    To At&t:
    Please tell us when.if the 8320 will be released? Or the javelin?
  • Wil

    go here...
    blackberry.com/upgrade..
    went to the website, pushed "upgrade", automatically started "application loader", plugged in my 8310.. yes 8310.. recognized 4.5 upgrade, push next, wait 45 min... DONE... you dont have to do any of that "make sure you delete the file" or "507 error" bs.. it does it all itself.. and i must say its def worth it, the ringtones even sound prettier!!
  • Susie
    What do you do if you have a Mac there is no way to sync to 8820 from computer; pocket mac won't work; will ATT store do it for you
