BlackBerry Media Sync for MAC Preview Available

RIM has released a “Preview” version of Media Sync for the MAC. Please note the following important disclaimer on the download page.

After installing the Preview Version of BlackBerry® Media Sync, other software previously used to synchronize data with your Mac®, such as PocketMac® for BlackBerry® devices or Missing Sync, will no longer be able to connect to your device and will not work until BlackBerry® Media Sync is uninstalled.

    Question...when Media Sync is installed no other sync software works...so I can sync my Itunes but not my contacts and calendar? Have I understood that correctly...it just doesn't make much sense if that is the case...Might as well stick to "Salling Sync" S.

    @Scott You are correct. I am not sure what RIM is thinking. It is nice to provide a preview but it killing your other Sync methods makes me shake my head.

    On second thought after the install I remember how much I like to sync my addresses...I also want to capability to update my software version and that's not available yet either. I am reserving judgement of "Great Product" until those features are included for MAC users.
