8900 Curve/Javelin Disassembly Guide

Member Phuongcv over at BlackBerrryForums.com has published a great disassembly instructional on taking apart the new 8900 Curve/Javelin.

Tools Necessary: T-6 Driver, Prying Tool

How to (Click on the photos for full size):
- Remove Battery Cover:

- Remove bottom plastic cover by using prying tool:

Here the clip of bottom plastic cover:

- Open 5 screws, once done, the back housing can be taken out:

- Take out main module by prying these clips (two clips on either side of the body):

- Now the main-board can be taken out after release these connectors:

- All done. Now you can clean trackball or do something else:

    I just replaced my 8900's bezel with the black one (OEM), need to open it but thanks to the youtube video from cnn.cn, it's all done. No sweat.
