For the second time in two weeks, AT&T is reporting issues with data coverage, today in the Northeast United States, including parts of Boston, New York and New Jersey, down into Maryland, D.C., and Virginia.

According to several Forum sites, BlackBerryForums.com and AT&T’s own customer support forum, a number of users in the Northeast are reporting primarily 3G signal loss, and some EDGE coverage loss, with voice working in all cases. Last week’s mid-west winter storm was the reported cause of data loss for AT&T.

Many reports now are indicating closure on this, while spotty areas remain down. For up-to-date outage information, check in at www.DataOutages.com.

I had some difficulties in midtown, NYC today acquiring a 3G signal. I'm still on EDGE but we will see what happens.

ATT wireless has been down for two days straight in DC. The entire NE Capitol Hill area is getting "Service Not Available". There was no notice from ATT and they promised service would be back March 24 in the early AM. It is now 9:30pm on March 24, 2009 and service is still out.
