Finally--the first North American carrier as finally released OS 4.5 for a 8310/8320 devices.
Rogers Wireless today placed downloads available for the 8310 and 8320 (Applications: 4.5.0.81; Package Version: 4.5.0.108). Enjoy!

According to Boy Genius, a leaked internal powerpoint slide from AT&T states that OS 4.5 will be available soon from att.com/bbdownloads in mid-September.

Well it's about time! CDMA users have been waiting (and some not so patiently) for the public release of a 4.5 OS for their device. Some of you will still have to wait, but for owners of the BlackBerry Curve 8330 and the BlackBerry Pearl 8130, the wait is over! Sorry, looks like you 8830 ...

While it's no surprise and certainly right high in expectations (along with OS 4.5 and BIS 2.5), RIM today added Desktop Manager verison 4.5 to its download stable.
The available downloads in English include with and without Media Manager, as well as a Multilanguage download, and French, German, and Spanish.

I don't know about you, but I've been waiting a LONG time for this - we're talking YEARS! Leaked versions of the beta OS 4.5 have been popping up all over the place and Rogers has finally delivered a device with 4.5... and now RIM is rolling out BIS 2.5 to APAC ...
