Verizon BIS data issues being reported today in Northeast US
Many Verizon users in the Northeast corridor of the US are reporting data and BIS connectivity issues today. From various reports, there appear issues in the D.C. Metro area, CT, MA,RI, NY and PA, at least. If you encounter issues on Verizon registering accounts, browser issues, and no email, this could be your problem.

Just a day later than Verizon announced it, Sprint now joins in to launch the 9630 BlackBerry Tour on July 12. Early this morning, RIM completed its update to BIS 2.5 in the Americas, enabling a slew of new features for those of the BlackBerry faithful running OS 4.5 and above. The most noteworthy update is support for HTML e-mail, but there are some other long overdue great features as well. continue
