In the latest installment of that hit reality TV show, "India vs. The Terrorists", the Telecom Secretary for India has said that there is "no threat from BlackBerry Services". With that statement, the Indian government has all but surrendered prior security concerns surrounding the BlackBerry Solution.

Yet more threats are being tossed RIM's way by the Indian government in regard to the encryption of RIM data passing through India.
The latest threat from the Indian government seems little more than a childish game of bluff.

If there is one thing that always comes up in a 'BlackBerry versus' discussion, it's the superior security implementation within the BlackBerry Solution. The out-of-the-box encryption between the device, over the wireless carrier network, and within the RIM NOC Infrastructure has been certified by the toughest government and security standards.
