Promotional photos of the Kickstart from Canada's Rogers Wireless have now surfaced thanks to the Boy Genius Report. The photos, which show the WiFi-enabled 8220 variant of the clamshell device will feature Talkspot, which is the new name for what was formerly known on the Rogers network as Home Calling ...

While these are images from the upcoming BlackBerry 8220 device simulator, these images show what the red-colored BlackBerry flip-phone will look like. This device is starting to look better and better since the first leaked pictures surfaced on Boy Genius Report in late April.

Our friend Kevin at CrackBerry has now posted a hands-on video of his pre-production 8220 Kickstart. The video, which has a run-time of 8:45, covers the physical features of the phone, its unique version of OS 4.6, and some nice comparison shots with phones from 8100 and 8300 Series.
