Sprint confirms July 12 Launch of the 9630 Tour

Filed under BlackBerry Carriers, Device Releases

Just a day later than Verizon announced it, Sprint now joins in to launch the 9630 BlackBerry Tour on July 12.

Eleven days and counting…Sprint doesn’t have a pre-purchase set up like Verizon does, but the Tour will be released by Sprint on July 12th. It will be available on www.sprint.com, 1-800-Sprint1, and through the Sprint business sales team.

Sprint’s model will also offer world roaming capabilities with voice coverage in 185 countries and e-mail and Web browsing and nearly 150 countries. The carrier also touted easy access to social networking sites, such as Flickr, MySpace, and Facebook.

Similarly, Sprint’s Tour price is $199.99 with a two-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate.
